These hoops are strong hdpe, covered in clear protective tape, and edged with protective tape, which can be removed or replaced. They are unique, and in many cases are not reproducible, so buy early. More designs are coming soon, so stay tuned!
Hoop cost is $25 for the gallery hoops. Larger or heavier ones will cost about $10 more.
Hoops can also be mailed out for $25 express postage and handling for the first hoop. Each subsequent hoop in the same mailout costs $5.

WHAT IS HDPE? Used worldwide for strong hoops that will be taped over, high density polyethylene has 'give', is strong, won't split or crack and is recyclable. It is little heavier than polypropylene, but will not crack in cold weather. It will go out of shape a little if stored in heat over 35 degrees, but can be easily bent back into shape. It is the hoop of choice for beginners and intermediates wishing to practice new skills.
Hoops cost between $25 and $35 depending on size and weight.
Pickup is from Mitchell Park by appointment, or at Tonsley Innovation Center, Gate 8, MAB circuit. Directions are at the bottom of this page.
Current Tonsley pickup times are 7pm to 9 pm, Mondays and Thursdays.
Cash or OSKO (bank) transfer is preferred.

The hoops below are available in all sizes, in black, blue or white electrical tape. These look great just by themselves, and give enough grip for your moves; but if you wish to decorate them with your own tape, you don't need to remove the existing cover. However..if you want to..it takes about 5 minutes!All sizes ( 90,95,100, 105cm) bare hoop with basic tape, hdpe, $25. Allow 4 days for your order to be made.

The standard size of 70cm diameter suits 4, 5 and 6 year olds doing waist spinning. They are indispensable for adults learning wrist, neck, ankle or foot hooping. These hoops are made of a softer plastic that won't snap, and they do minimal damage to you or furniture if they land in the wrong place. You can order just one, or I can make up a pair, or more. These designs and numbers are ready to go.
One decorated mini hoop is $15.00 plus postage and handling of $20 for one hoop; $5 for each subsequent hoop in the same order.
Multiple mini hoops are $12.50 for each extra hoop in the same order.
Thus;

2 minis;$15.00 plus $12.50.= $27.50
3 minis: $15.00 plus $12.50 plus $12.50.= $40.00

Basic budget minihoops

These minihoops are minimally taped, enough to stiffen them, and are available for $10 each, any quantity, with postage of $20 for the first hoop, $5 for each subsequent hoop in the same mailout. These hoops work as well as the more decorated ones, but are slightly softer and lighter. Please choose the color combination you would like.

The hoops below are 90 cm hdpe hoops, which suit children over 10 and experienced adults. Available immediately, pickup or post out.
The hoops below are 95/96cm hdpe hoops, which suit older children and smaller adults; available immediately, pickup or post out.
100 to 104 hoops. These are useful for absolute beginners and taller or generally larger people, as they are very forgiving. They are also handy to learn upper body skills, especially the challenging shoulder hooping, and can be used for meditative spinning.

Not sure of the size that suits you? Use the sample sizes to help you find your perfect hoop size. Available at Tonsley on Thursdays at 6.30 to 7.00 pm. It's free and fun. Wear clothes you can move in easily...tshirts and leggings/shorts are a great idea. Meet at gate 1, main entrance, under the Flinders Uni building, just off South Road, at 7 pm.
